Madou Township -"Madou Incense" of Madou Daitian Temple(Temple of Five-Regency)

The Madou Daitian Temple has given the place the name Madou Five Regent Kings Temple; mainly worshiping the warm gods system of the five regents of Lee, Chi, Wu, Zhu and Fan. In every year, the last 10 days of April, the 11th-20th of June, August and September in the lunar calendar are the aging incense periods and at these times, the temples of the spilt-spirits or the spilt-incense from all corners of the nation will gather as the incense patrol teams to celebrate the birthday of the Regent along with holding the “passing stove” ceremony that is regarded as a sincere religious activity to commemorate ancestors.....more § The History of Madou Incense
